A seasoned bass player known for her distinct style and unwavering dedication to her craft, Cassie was pulled into the world of music at an early age and never looked back. From her earliest years playing in church to joining a professional symphony by the age of 20, her uncanny ability to combine the pop and classical worlds has been the foundation of her unique approach. Following her love for Jesus, music, and people, this path has led her to serve missionally and work professionally in the realm of music for over 20 years.

Cassie is a touring and session bass player having played live and recorded for: Brooke Ligertwood, Amanda Cook, Steffany Gretzinger, Jonathan & Melissa Helser, Jeremy Riddle, Cory Asbury, and Elyssa Smith. Whether on stage or in the studio, her sensitivity to what a song or moment requires makes her a consistent choice for artists around the world. Her ability to seamlessly blend singable melodies while creating emotive bass lines has earned her a reputation as not only a phenomenal bass player but also an inspiring collaborative songwriter. Her melodies have been the catalyst for songs such as Misty Edward’s “You Won’t Relent,” as well as being a member of the ambient trio “Call The Ocean” (whose music was a part of the 2021 Whitney Houston Super Bowl tribute).

Beyond the stage, Cassie is also a dedicated educator, sharing her knowledge and passion for music with aspiring musicians across the world. Through her speaking and workshops, she inspires musicians of any instrument to pursue heartfelt excellence in their own musical journey.
